Powerhouse is a manufacturer and a dealer of rechargeable battery products, specializing in battery packs and belts. Powerhouse line of products includes battery units and power supplies made specifically for the film and video industries. We have the knowledge and expertise required for the sales and repair of all products, we are located in the Los Angeles area which is the world center of the film and video media and is the national hub of this market.
Powerhouse is a new company, however, it benefits from its founders, Gideon Ben-Akiva, 19 years of experience at G&M Power Products, Inc. which was established in 1974 now operating as Powerhouse, and still is a leading manufacturer of these products.

Powerhouse offers sales and service of all types of rechargeable battery packs and belts for the film and video fields. These battery units power the Arriflex Film cameras, the Panavision Film cameras, the AAton, the Moviecam, the Imax and video cameras such as the Sony Betacam, Panasonic Supercam, Bosch, Ikegami, Hitachi, Sharp and JVC. Powerhouse offers its own line of battery and chargers for all above cameras, lights and some test and evaluation equipment known as Battery Analyst. We provide service for all G&M Power Products batteries. We also provide the battery belts That were featured in the movie "Battlestar Galactica"

Powerhouse goal is to provide its customers with new products and innovative solutions to the needs of the camera users on location and at work. One such product is a PC based battery analyzer that is necessary for testing battery packs. This product is not available anywhere and is needed. Another such product is our new dual superblock that eliminates battery down time, and can be used as both a pack and a belt. Check it out in our Products page.

Additionally, Powerhouse goal is to provide different products of different manufacturers at one location, where the customer is able to test and try several different products in order to decide which one will fit his needs best. Any of these products could be modified or custom fit, as needed, on the premises which will save time and unnecessary shipping costs.
